ADAM Scratch + Sleep
Continuous scratch and sleep monitoring.
Scratch + Sleep Monitoring
The ADAM sensor detects signals generated by scratching via movement of the fingers or wrist when mounted on the dorsal hand. Quantifying previously subjective patient-reported outcomes can be used to assess the efficacy of drugs for conditions that cause itching, determine disease severity, and monitor treatment response. Integrated sleep tracking provides a broader picture of patient health.
-
Track scratch duration, scratch count, and scratch intensity
-
Detection accuracy of 99% (84% sensitivity, 99% specificity) against direct visual observation
-
Track standard sleep metrics such as total sleep time and wake after sleep onset with the same device used for scratch tracking
ADAM Scratch and Sleep
-
Count of individual scratch events
-
Duration of each scratch event
-
Estimation of the force with which the user is scratching, averaged over the duration of the scratch event
-
Time spent in bed when the user is actually asleep
-
Duration of time the user is awake after falling asleep and before end of the sleep episode
-
The percentage of time spent sleeping after falling asleep and before end of the sleep episode
Accurate Scratch Detection
Advanced machine learning algorithms accurately identify scratching behavior and are not deceived by similar non-scratching behavior.
